1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and AnyDocsAI.com, LLC ("AnyDocsAI", "we", "us") and govern your use of the AnyDocsAI website at anydocsai.com, our web application, our API and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organization.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher) to use the Service.
2. The Service
AnyDocsAI lets you upload documents and images, converts them into text and Markdown, and lets you ask questions about them using artificial intelligence. Features include:
- conversion of PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CSV, HTML and image files to text and Markdown;
- text recognition for scans, photos, screenshots and handwriting;
- document summaries and a chat interface for asking questions about a document; and
- on eligible plans, batch conversion and programmatic API access.
We continually improve the Service and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is material to a paid plan you're on, we'll give you reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a pro-rated refund.
3. Accounts
You need an account to convert documents. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly through our Support page if you suspect unauthorized use. One person may not create multiple accounts to get around plan limits.
4. Your content
You own your content. "Your Content" means the files you upload, the text and Markdown produced from them, and the questions you ask and answers you receive. As between you and us, you keep all rights in Your Content.
License to operate the Service. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive license, with no royalties owed, to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you. This includes sending document text to our AI and infrastructure providers to perform conversions and answer your questions, as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems.
No training. We do not use Your Content to train, fine-tune or improve artificial intelligence models, and we do not permit our AI providers to do so.
Your responsibilities. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload Your Content and to let us process it, and that doing so does not violate any law, contract, or anyone else's rights, including privacy and intellectual-property rights. Don't upload data you're not allowed to share, such as other people's personal information without a lawful basis.
Sensitive data. The Service is not designed for, and you should not upload, data subject to special regulatory regimes (for example protected health information under HIPAA or payment-card data under PCI DSS) unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
5. AI output
Conversions and chat answers are produced automatically and may contain mistakes — for example misread characters, misplaced table cells, or answers that are incomplete or wrong. Output is provided for convenience and is not legal, financial, medical, tax or other professional advice. Check important information against the original document before you rely on it. You're responsible for how you use the output.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal, or to upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that exploits or harms minors;
- upload malware or files designed to harm or exploit the Service or other users;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass any security, rate-limit or usage control;
- access the Service by automated means other than our API, or scrape it;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties as a standalone service without our written permission;
- use the Service or its output to build a competing product, or to reverse-engineer our models or systems;
- use the Service to harass, defraud, or infringe the privacy of others; or
- interfere with the Service's operation or with other users' use of it.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.
7. Plans and billing
Lite plan. The Lite plan ($0) includes a limited number of documents and may change over time. We may limit or end access to the Lite plan, for example to prevent abuse.
Paid plans. Paid plans (currently Personal and Professional) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices and plan limits are shown on our Pricing page. Prices exclude taxes, which we add where required.
Usage limits. Each plan includes a monthly number of documents and a maximum page count per document. Unused allowance does not roll over. Deleting a document does not restore allowance already used.
Upgrades and downgrades. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to your current plan until then. There is no long-term contract.
Refunds. Except where required by law or stated in these Terms, payments are non-refundable and we don't give credits for partial months.
Failed payments. If a payment fails we may retry it, and may downgrade or suspend the paid features of your account until it's resolved.
Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice; you can cancel before then.
8. API access
If your plan includes API access, keep your API keys secret and don't share them. You're responsible for all use of your keys. We may set and change reasonable rate limits and may suspend keys that are compromised or misused.
9. Our property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and trademarks, belongs to AnyDocsAI and its licensors and is protected by law. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Singlebase.cloud for authentication, database and file storage, Singlebase.io AI models for conversion and chat, and Stripe for billing. Their services are subject to their own terms. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for their content.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would create legal or security risk. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and a chance to export your content first.
After your account ends, we delete Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive — including Your Content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and disputes — survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or without errors, or that conversions or answers will be accurate or complete. Keep your own copies of important documents.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnyDocsAI and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service, even if advised of the possibility.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) US $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify AnyDocsAI against third-party claims, and related costs and reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or of someone else's rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us through our Support page and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute that isn't resolved will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a country that gives you the right to bring claims in your local courts or under your local law, nothing here takes that right away.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and cancel your plan.
17. General
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
